A Place of Relief, A Community of Care
As summer temperatures rise, so do the challenges faced by many in our community who lack access to safe, cool spaces. In response, and guided by a spirit of compassion and justice, we are opening a Cooling Center in Pickaway County—a place of respite for those in need.
This initiative is more than a response to the heat. It’s a reflection of our calling to be a church of action by trying to humbly walk out Micah 6:8: which says “To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Through every kind gesture, every shared moment of relief, we echo that divine invitation to care for one another.
